Sitting at the dining table, laptop open, pen in hand, ready to write first by long hand and then type up – revising the handwritten version as I am typing, I am attempting to write about loving ‘The Love’.
What is ‘The Love’?
Is it the fresh dawn of a spring morning, brightly showcasing the array of color in all its various hues?
Is it the happy chirping of the blackbird on finding a juicy worm in the rotting mulch?
Is it the discipline of the rooster in the neighbor’s backyard in its tireless wake up call for us to enjoy nature’s bounty?
Is it the sleepy rantings of a teenager who finally fell asleep fighting it?
Is it the hum of the fridge or the buzz of the computer or is it the hand furiously scribbling to capture the jumbled thoughts?
Is is the nostalgic dwelling in sweet & painful childhood memories talking long distance to a cousin & friend you haven’t kept in touch whilst the mind is incessantly rambling to plan the day that is fast slipping away?
What is ‘The Love’?
We are surrounded by it – ‘The Love’ in all its various manifestations.
When we try to capture the ordinary with a pure heart……..
When we try to hold the imperfections with a perfectly formed eye………
When we admire the prefect & precise plan as it is unfolding………..
When we know that we are exactly where we are meant to be, doing what we are doing, with everything that we are given………..
When we realise that there is no ‘if’, ‘but’, ‘may be’ or ‘should’ – when we realise that with full accpetance………
That is when we are loving ‘The Love’.
A Love that is manifest in all its glory right there in front of us, behind us, below us, above us, around us, within us. There are no imperfections. Everything designed and created is perfect. There are only imperfections in our perceptions.
When I see this, when I fully accept this, I am loving ‘The Love’ of things, beings, as they are – on a constant journey of discovering and travelling from
‘The unreal to the Real
From Darkness to Light
From Death to Immortality”
Recognising that, accepting that, is how we love ‘The Love’.
and that is only as easy as deciding to ignore the seeming imperfections and dwell on the perfection of the manifestation.
I have decided to witness the perfection in the beauty and the ugly instead of telling myself stories about it.
Tell me how you love ‘The Love’
Loving you all
Until next time
With Love and Respect
